Ah, the infamous green smoothie… I feel like nowadays everyone has their signature recipe but at the same time are always looking for a great green smoothie recipe.
I am a creature of habit. So much so that I have this smoothie every morning for breakfast. Every. Morning. Why you might ask? Because it’s so v tasty and makes me feel great. I usually am not very hungry in the mornings so having an easy to drink smoothie helps kick start my metabolism and keep me going.
The best part about this smoothie is you can totally make this your own. I am slightly addicted to BPN’s Strong Greens and Strong Reds (greens supplement veggies and reds supplement your daily fruit) which helps with my digestive health and boost my natural energy. I have been consuming these for almost a year and George and I are both hooked! If that’s not your jam though – sub the greens for some spinach or kale! (I prefer frozen for smoothies)
Green Smoothie
– 1 scoop BPN Strong Greens
– 1 scoop BPN Strong Reds
– 1 scoop protein powder (I prefer Gold Standard Whey – Vanilla)
– 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Powder
– 1 cup of your preferred milk choice (I use unsweetened Almond Milk)
– 1 tablespoon chia seeds
I like my smoothie super thick and cold enough that it will give me a gnarly brain freeze so I will top off my cup with ice but if that’s not your preference you can skip that!
I blend it all up in my Magic Bullet which is the best because it’s single use and cleanup is minimal.
I personally subscribe to the fact that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I feel like it helps set me up to be successful and feel empowered to take on the day.
What is your go-to smoothie or breakfast recipe?

[…] Salad Box Mix – This is something that I feel I picked up from my childhood. I have a distinct memory of always having salad with a meal and I have just carried that into adulthood. Not only is it super convenient for meals but goes great when you want to add some extra greens to your smoothie. […]
