Sweet glorious coffee, I love you.
Believe it or not, there was a period of time where I did not drink coffee. When Jared and I first got married, I was under a spell that made me think I was too good for coffee, those were dark days. Jared worked at Starbucks when we first got married and slowly brought me into the light (with the basic girl coffees) and now I am a full on “I like it black, extra hot and dark roast” kind of gal. I thought I would share some of our coffee must-haves, these are sure to bring your coffee game up a few levels or maybe just further enhance your coffee experience.
- Nespresso Vertuo Plus Coffee & Espresso Maker – If you follow me on instagram (and if not, what are you waiting for?!) you have probably heard me on multiple occasions profess my love for this coffee maker. This is the best at home coffee experience I have ever had and honestly am not sure I will ever go back. Ugh, I love you Nessie
- Cute Coffee Mugs – I love coffee mugs! My friends and family are the sweetest also and feed this love of mine so well, our mug cabinet is filled to the brim. There is something so cozy about having a good cup of coffee in a mug that makes me smile. Target has some of the best!
- Coffee Pod Holder – The Nespresso machine uses pods and I like having a fun way of storing them.
- Bodum French Press Coffee Maker – French press coffee has to be my second favorite way to drink/make coffee. It’s as easy as adding coffee ground and hot water, letting it steep for 4 minutes and then pressing the grounds down and pouring a cup. Every time I drink it, I think about a few mountain vacations we have taken where we drank French press all day long.
- Metal Coffee Container – I am on the side that if you have to store it – make it cute. This is perfect for grounds, beans or pods.
- Handheld Milk Frother – If you are really wanting to step up your game, get a milk frother. It is so easy to use and makes your coffee that much more special.
- Stainless Steel Travel Coffee Mug – If you are someone that makes a cup of coffee and sips on it for 4 hours or are commuting to work, invest in a good travel mug that will keep your coffee hot. It’s a no-brainer.
- Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker – We have this coffee maker along with our Nespresso and we love it. Not only can it do just about every size cup of coffee it also can make a full pot – but wait there is more! It ALSO can make specialty coffees such as macchiatos, lattes and iced coffee. This little guy does it all!
- Brew Recipe Book – This is a fun gift or addition to any coffee lovers kitchen. There are recipes upon recipes for fun coffee creations and fun tips and tricks. We love looking through this on the weekends when we want to try something new.
- Oatmeal Cookie Coffee Creamer – Guys, this stuff is amazing. I occasionally like a splash of coffee creamer in my cup and this is by far my favorite. It’s pure sugar sin.
- Bodum Electric Coffee Grinder – One small thing that you can do to step up your current coffee game is to freshly ground your coffee. It takes like 2 seconds and will enhance the taste of your coffee by 1000x. Bonus, makes your house smell like a dream.
- Aeropress Coffee Press – This little guy is so handy, think French Press but single cup. We love this tool!

What are your favorite coffee tools? What is your favorite way to drink a cup of joe?
XO, Ashton

My freshman in college and I are coffee are partners in coffee crime. We have loads of mugs, but we have our favorites. Are big fans of the bodum french press. He drinks black, but I love my handheld milk frother. Not a big fan of our electric coffee grinder, but have an awesome sturdy crank one that is precise to the setting. We have differing preferred settings for french press and moka pot as well as the roast of the beans. My son has turned coffee making into a science. 🙂 Loved seeing I’m not the only nut blogging about coffee. haha
